After reading both links I can quickly conclude that I was more drawn to and absorbent of the information in "Meet your Type". I feel this is simply because of the font and type and mostly because the main ideas are broken up into segments making the information more accessible. If all of my academic text books were in a similar pamphlet style, my life would be so much easier. I also agree with a topic that "A Brief History of Type" touched on, which is considering which fonts are appropriate for the subject matter. Text or font can really set the mood and flow for a passage or piece of writing if applied thoughtfully.
